A very, very early start...

...on Saturday morning, cycling to east Croydon station at 5am in order to make it to London to catch the train to Birmingham. I was off to Maryvale, to begin a degree in Theology! I'll let you know how things progress. This first weekend of lectures was simply terrific and I am feeling very enthusiastic indeed.

I did the BA (Divinity) Course at Maryvale. It was excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in true Cathlic theology. Maryvale is the only place in the UK where lay people can study for degrees in Catholic Theology awarded by a pontifical university - thus making it a genuinely 'Catholic' degree. Enjoy your studies.

Wow Joanna, I have been thinking of doing the Divinity degree for sometime but have missed my chance for this year. Do keep us posted on how you are getting on!

I too have considered doing the Divinity course but not having studied since my A levels 21 years ago I am a little hesitant. Do please keep us informed of your progress.

Good luck Joanna. Studying at Maryvale was one of the best things I ever did. Nicholas too...go for it!
